Your loved one can get some exercise and boost his or her overall health while leading tours through this beautiful preserves, and he or she can teach people about the animals, native plants, and ways to protect their natural environment. Training is provided.

4. Mercer Botanic Gardens

Located at 22306 Aldine Westfield Road, this botanical facility offers seniors volunteering opportunities where they can use their enthusiasm and time to grow plants from cuttings and seeds, give tours, and aid with plant sales and fundraising events.
